1910 Brussels Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules with Respect to Assistance and Salvage at Sea

The Brussels Convention for the Unification of Certain Rules with Respect to Assistance and Salvage at Sea was held on 1910-09-23 in Brussels and was attended by the appointed representatives of various countries.[1]

The Brussels Convention forms the basis of current international marine salvage law.[1] In some countries it is overridden by the 1989 International Convention on Salvage that took effect in 1996.
